    Intended purpose

    • Round-knitted medical compression stocking used for compression of the lower extremities, mainly for the treatment of disorders of the venous system. 

    Indications

    • Chronic venous disorders: C0s - C3 according to CEAP
    • Postoperative reperfusion oedema, post-traumatic, postoperative, occupational oedema, medicinally induced oedema
    • Oedema due to immobility
    • Initial phase following varicose vein therapy
    • Superficial venous thrombosis
    • Thrombosis prophylaxis in mobile patients
    • Inflammatory dermatoses of the legs
    • Nausea, dizziness in pregnancy 

    Contraindications
    Medical compression clothing may not be worn if the patient has the following conditions:

    • Advanced peripheral arterial occlusive disease
    • Decompensated heart diseases (NYHA III + IV)
    • Septic phlebitis
    • Phlegmasia coerulea dolens

    In the following instances, the therapeutic decision should be made by weighing up the benefits and risks and by selecting the most suitable compressive equipment:

    • Concomitant dermatoses
    • Intolerance to compression stocking fabric
    • Sensory disturbances of the limb
    • Advanced peripheral neuropathy
    • Primary chronic arthritis 
    Compression socks are divided into:
    • CCL1 - when there is a small degree of varicose veins, swelling of the legs in the evening, during long trips, when tired, painful legs are constantly felt.

    • CCL2 – in case of varicose veins, swelling of the legs, deep vein thrombosis, lymphedema, after surgical treatment of varicose veins of the legs.

    It is very important to choose the right size according to the size chart. Please refer to the size chart.

    Putting on/taking off compression socks or tights

    It is recommended to put on compression socks or tights in the morning, before getting up, before the swelling of the legs has started. It is best to use rubber gloves as this will make it easier to put on and take off the compression socks or tights. Feet must be dry.

    Using rubber gloves, rub the sock or pantyhose over the foot and heel until the heel is in place. Do not pull the sock by the top edge.

    Washing instructions

    It can be washed by hand and in a washing machine, using the hand wash mode. Water temperature - no more than 40°C. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners. Rinse well.
    After washing, carefully hang to dry. Do not leave them lying damp on a towel. Do not leave to dry on heaters, radiators or in direct sunlight. Do not iron with an iron.

    Composition:

    • CCL 1: 43% elastane, 57% polyamide
    • CCL 2: 49% elastane, 51% polyamide

    If necessary (higher compression class, individual measurements when the standard size of socks is not suitable for the patient), socks are ordered individually from the manufacturer. 

    SIZE GUIDE

    Take your leg measurements in the morning when your legs are least swollen.

    1. The required leg circumferences are measured: cB - across the ankle, cC - the thickest part of the calf below the knee. Select the size according to the size chart.
    2. The length of the leg is measured, the length of the socks/tights is selected:
    • lleg length up to the knees 34 - 38 cm - a shortened model of the product is required;
    • leg length up to the knees 39 - 44 cm - a standard model of the product is required.
